The NEW M49 Battery Maestro is a unique NEW fast battery tester for quickly checking the performance of sealed lead acid batteries, including AGM and GEL types quickly.
It’s really easy to use, needs no technical expertise and is ideal for making fast decisions on replacing batteries, both in field and in workshop situations.
Most battery testing involves a full discharge test to establish the battery’s capacity, this can take hours to complete. The M49 gives similar results in just 2 minutes, without significantly discharging the battery.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The M49 Battery Maestro has been developed following years of
experience of testing all types of batteries.
A sophisticated microcontroller applies a series of real life discharge
loads to the battery and records the way the battery reacts. These
"reactions" are then analysed and a unique test pattern is formulated
to test the battery’s capacity.
A complex algorithm then considers the data produced during the
final test and then computes the estimated battery capacity. The full
test take just 2 minutes ! |

Two versions of the M49 are available, the standard M49 and the more sophisticated M49-PRO.
